Joe Moak - Founder and Chief Engineer
Joe is a product design engineer driven to launching innovative, highly integrated products to market. For two decades he has had a hand in every aspect of product design from a blank sheet of paper to mass production, domestic and overseas.
Joe has built and led product design engineering organizations at Sonos, Apple, Black Diamond, medical device startup, as well as founding two companies. Products in his portfolio include iPad, iMac, Apple TV, two generations of Mac Mini, several Apple Mac Accessories, the 2015 Sonos Play:5, Sonos Playbase, heart and brain implants. While he loves tackling a good design challenge, his passion is in building and leading teams to tackle along with him. Joe’s mechanical intuition was formalized through the “learn by doing” Mechanical Engineering program at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
